About Us
Pan In Harmony Steel Drum Band is a two-to-six piece steel drum band (all-instrumental...OR
...with vocalist) performing Caribbean steel pan music throughout Middle Tennessee:
Nashville, Clarksville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, Franklin, Brentwood, Mt. Juliet, Murfreesboro, Spring Hill, Columbia...and beyond! Our repertoire consists of over 7 hours worth of tunes:
Calypso/Soca tunes from the islands, as well as favorite Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Harry Belafonte and Dock of the Bay/Boardwalk types of tunes. (And about 3 hours of Christmas tunes!)
The band has been together for over a decade
and has played mainly corporate and country club gigs, hundreds of private pool parties, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, Opryland Hotel house gig for 3 years, many 'island' restaurants, many festivals and over 50 elementary and middle schools in the greater Nashville area.
Summer, 2010: Pan In Harmony welcomes Darryl Johnson as our featured vocalist! (Listen to "Boardwalk" on the Song List or Price List pages!)
Darryl Johnson recently moved to Nashville and is the lead vocalist for Nashville-based, Mr. Groove Band, which has recently released a tribute CD to Ike Turner (Rocket 88). He is a writer and producer as well. Darryl has performed and recorded with such artists as Bill Pinckney and the Original Drifters, General Johnson and the Chairmen, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, Bill Evans
"Pan In Harmony was the perfect addition to our conference
reception. It was particularly nice that the guests were
able to converse and interact while the band played.
I can’t say enough good things about the experience.
I would definitely hire them again."
